ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
La Escuelita
University District
Children will be accepted for care between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years old.
We suggest that parents make arrangements for a placement visit at least a week prior to full-time care in order to allow for a phase-in period. These hours are available after parents have completed registration.
Children will not be accepted on a drop-in or part time basis.
Parents must complete the following forms before child care begins:
Registration forms must be completed with all pertinent information, inclusive of the date of last physical exam.
A completed record of immunizations.
A written consent for the child to receive emergency medical care.
A signed agreement and permission for your child to participate in school activities within walking distance in our neighborhood. For example: walk to Ravenna Park, University Village or Burke Gillman Trail. Waddlers go for outings in the strollers.
A written contract, specifying fees, payment plan and business practices.
La Escuelita will provide care for any child regardless of color, race, sex, national origin, religious affiliation or disability of child or family members.
It is our policy to provide reasonable accommodations for children or family members with a disability. If you need special accommodations:
Inform the director or supervisor as to the specific request for reasonable accommodations.
The director will make decisions concerning reasonable accommodations and communicate that decision to the family.
The director will document decisions to provide reasonable accommodations and provide a copy of any correspondence to the individuals.
Parents must attend a 30 minute orientation with the director in order to clarify issues concerning school policies.
